PFLAG promotes the health, safety & well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through Support: to cope with an adverse society, Education: to enlighten the public, and Advocacy: to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights for LGBTQ+ people and their loved ones.
The best way for parents, family members and friends, or gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people to get support, receive educational materials, and learn about PFLAG’s advocacy efforts, is to visit a PFLAG chapter. PFLAG Ithaca Cortland welcomes you to join us at our monthly meetings, or e-mail us for more information.
PFLAG has more than 500 chapters that are located in all 50 states. Get the personalized support that you need from people who understand what you’re experiencing.
We typically meet on the first Sunday of the month at 4PM. It is best to send us an email at contact@pflagithacacortland.com to confirm the next meeting date. Our monthly meetings are currently a hybrid of in-person and Zoom. To attend in-person, the location is 165 Main Street, Cortland, NY. Enter the building using the Main Street entrance. The address (165 Main St) is right on the door. There is some street parking on Main Street, right in front of the building. Once inside, please follow signs to the board room (there will be several PFLAG members there).
. To attend via Zoom, please request access at contact@pflagithacacortland.com and we will reply with the meeting access information and link.
